I know. Don't rub it on my face. I am well aware that owning a DSLR doesn't automatically make you a photographer. I am not one of those people who have the guts to claim such title. I have high regards to photographers. I believe they are living disciples of art. I still have a long journey to take before I can actually put that title next to my name, Vincci Larang - Photographer.
Sa madaling salita, hindi lang isang kaban and kakainin ko. Baka isang warehouse pa ng NFA bago ko marating ang estado na yun. Sa ngaun, kailangan mag aral. kailangan mag praktis.
Last April, I had the most memorable learning experience, and that is learning basic photography from the masters at FPPF or the Federation of the Philippine Photographers Foundation (http://photoworldmanila.com/) For 5 sundays, I was able to understand my camera and what magic it can do. For those planning to study photography, this is the best place to be. You will learn from the best and at the same time very affordable. Don't be fooled by basic photography lessons (ads na yan makikita sa facebook) that will just long for 4-5 hours somewhere in Quezon City area (some techno hub). Haay, wala kayong matututunan. You even have to pay for your certificate and hand outs. Walang real time practice shoot kasi bawal sa area. At ang nakakainis pa, you will just have your lesson sa loob ng Starbucks! I realized that I was so stupid of thinking, I can learn photography in just few hours. I also realized that not all good photographers can be effective teachers of photography. So madlang people out there, ito ay isang babala, hindi ko na siya papangalanan baka warlahin ako nun! For photography lessons, go na kayo sa FPPF (ayan ha, free plugging yan FPPF hehhe).
I hope this blog site can inspire other people who wanted to venture into photography just like me. I also hope that through this site, i can still learn more from your feedbacks and comments.
Of course, other than photos, I will also post here some random thoughts, mga kalokohan at ka-dramahan. Feel free to view, read and comment.
